Errol Brown, Hot Chocolate artist, expires matured 71

Hot Chocolate lead artist Errol wn haBros kicked the bucket matured 71, his supervisor has said.

An announcement from Brown's director on Wednesday affirmed the vocalist's passing.

"Errol Brown MBE passed away in The Bahamas at the beginning of today with his wife Ginette and little girls Colette and Leonie by his side of liver malignant tumor," he said.

"Errol was a darling of life and clearly "music!" I never went into his home, auto or a lodging room without music playing.

"Errol was a 'Delicate Man' and was an individual companion of mine who will be tragically missed by everybody who distinguished him," Phil Dale proceeded.

"His most noteworthy bequest is that his music will live on!"

Kindred specialists including Chic's Nile Rodgers have paid tribute on Twitter.Rodgers thought of: "We had some great times once upon a period. #ErrolBrown RIP".

Artist Beverley Knight tweeted: "I am so gutted. Errol Brown was such an appealling entertainer."

Cocoa was conceived in Jamaica however moved to the UK with his mom when he was 12.

His musical profession started in 1969 when he and a few companions sent their own reggae variant of Give Peace a Chance to its essayist John Lennon.

"We all snickered about it," Brown told BBC Breakfast in 2009.

"Amazingly, after a week I got a call to say John Lennon sanction it and needed to sign the band to the Apple record mark - and that is the way we started."

Cocoa said they were initially named by a young lady working at the record organization as The Hot Chocolate Band, which was later abbreviated.

Late record maker and hitmaker Mickie Most joined Brown and his companion Tony Wilson as lyricists towards the end of 1969, defending Brown's composition and singing.

He recorded their tunes with Mary Hopkins, Julie Felix & Herman's Hermits.

Hot Chocolate discharged their first single Love is Life in 1970 and the tune went to number six in the outlines.

"The affection I felt at every show will stay in myheart for eternity."
